About the Author
Fiona Murphy McCormack is a Northern Irish writer from Poyntzpass. She has a BA (HONS) in English with Creative Writing from Glyndwr University Wrexham and an MA in Creative Writing from Queen's University Belfast. She was selected as a Young Writer Delegate of the International Literary Festival Dublin in 2019 and a former bursary student of John Hewitt in 2017. She frequently recites stories and poems at various local performance spaces and co-hosts a creative writing group from Petty Sessions Poyntzpass. She has previously been published in Past Poets Future Voices Electric Reads Young Writers Anthology 2015, Germ Magazine, Fearless Femme Magazine (now the Ampersand Project), The Elephant Ladder, Crossways Literary Review, Everyday Fiction, Fairlight Books and upcoming in Viva Voce Anthology.
